Traditional Timber Batten Sizes
Timber battens are generally limited in sizes, simply due to the limitations around the widths and lengths of the timber they are carved from. DecoBatten® produces all traditional timber batten sizes and can coat them to match up to 150 different timber woodgrains with our Super Durable DecoWood® timber-look powder coated finish.
Aluminium Batten Sizes
Aluminium battens are extruded at precise sizes from expertly designed dyes. Normally designed as hollow profiles, they are generally much lighter than solid timber battens – especially hardwood timbers – and offer straight, long 6.5 metre lengths that will not warp or split. They can also be extruded at different wall thicknesses to provide a stronger profile depending on the application and offer the choice of square or radius corners.
Aluminium battens are literally available in hundreds of different sizes and shapes to suit a wide range of architectural and building designs. You can even create your own profile if it is not already available!
One-Piece & Two-Piece Battens
Another benefit of aluminium profiles is the variety of systems available. DecoBatten offers standard one-piece square and rectangular battens, as well as an innovative two-piece QuickClick design with a separate concealed backing, ideal for easily securing battens to walls and ceilings.
