DECO Australia Wins Inaugural Manufacturing Awards
Recognised for Excellence in Digital Transformation
DECO Australia has made history as the first business to receive an Australian Manufacturing Award at the inaugural ceremony held on Saturday, 25 October 2025.
The family-owned Australian manufacturer, known for its premium aluminium building products and finishes, was presented with the Digital Transformation Award for its groundbreaking Middleware Project, earning national recognition for its commitment to digital innovation and progress within the manufacturing industry.
This award acknowledges DECO’s forward-thinking approach to digitalisation, which has become a key pillar in its strategy to strengthen operational efficiency, support sustainable growth, and continue delivering high-quality Australian-made products.
DECO’s Supply Chain Manager, Evan Capaldi, led the digital initiative and is incredibly proud to be recognised for the project.
“Innovation is at the heart of our business. Embracing digital tools and technology has really allowed us to operate more efficiently, improve service for our customers, and maintain the high standards of quality DECO is known for.”
DECO’s investment in digital initiatives reflects its broader goal of modernising Australian manufacturing through smarter, more connected systems. These advancements are helping to streamline production, strengthen DECO’s rigorous quality control processes, and reduce environmental impact — ensuring the company continues to set benchmarks for quality, sustainability, and service in the aluminium manufacturing sector.
“Digitalisation is vital for the future of Australian manufacturing.” added Capaldi. “It enables us to be more agile, data-driven, and customer-focused, qualities that are essential to our continued success and growth.”
