Colour Chemistry: DECO x 2026 Dulux Colour Forecast
In 2026 and beyond, colour and finish trends are expected to continue to reflect a desire for comfort, security, and connection to nature within the home. Sustainability and nature remain a key design consideration and is thoughtfully woven into this year’s colour forecast palettes.
The Dulux Colour 2026 Forecast has transitioned to rich, warm earth-based neutrals, deep berry hues, and a spectrum of green shades – from soft sage and spearmint to rich olive – alongside gentle pinks, dusty rose, and calming pastels. Warm grey adds a depth and softness, creating sophisticated spaces that feel welcoming and restful.
As we look to the next year in home and exterior design, our team has taken Dulux’s forecast to create our own finish palettes combining Dulux’s highlighted powder coat finishes alongside our DecoWood® and DecoVogue® sublimation powder coat finishes. The Ethereal Powder Coat Palette
The Ethereal powder coat palette features the soft pastels of Surreal Effects Mannex Suede Texture and Duralloy® New Life, the understated opulence of Electro Aged Brass Kinetic and cleansing warmth of Protexture® Natural White.
For our DECO x Dulux palette we have paired the bright and bold Duralloy® New Life with our DecoWood® Aspen Drift® and DecoVogue® Classic Concrete finish, to create a calming natural palette, suitable for coastal and treelined environments alike.
The Elemental Powder Coat Palette
The Elemental powder coat palette features the distinctive, textured finishes of Duratec® Elements Granite and Duratec® Elements Stone, alongside Duratec® Eternity Vintage Copper Kinetic and Electro Natural Silver Kinetic for an elevated, industrial look.
The muted tones of our DECO x Dulux Elemental palette reflects the warmth of a cosy cottage. The DecoVogue® Charcoal Concrete and Duratec® Eternity Vintage Copper Kinetic help ground this palette while the DecoWood® Wheatfield® is used to carry the natural light through the space.
The Evoke Powder Coat Palette
The Evoke powder coat palette is playful and a truly ‘evokes’ feelings of warm nostalgia. Included in this palette is the deep, chocolatey Duralloy® Anotec Mid Bronze accented with Duralloy® Lama and Precious Bright Gold Pearl alongside the bold yet calming Duralloy® Wedgewood.
This Evoke palette feels like new beginnings in an older home. The Duralloy® Lama and DecoWood® French Wash pays homage to the retro era, while the DecoVogue® Charcoal Concrete and the DecoWood® Linen Shore® both bring in a timeless element that will withstand for future designs and eras.
