DecoClad® Achieves New Fire Rating FRL -/30/30 for Use in Fire-Prone Areas
DECO Australia is proud to announce that its DecoClad® aluminium cladding system has achieved a Fire Resistance Level (FRL) of -/30/30 following rigorous testing carried out by Ignis Labs in accordance with AS 1530.4: Fire Resistance Tests for Elements of Construction.
Already tested and certified to AS 1530.1 and AS 1530.3, this additional testing follows new installation methods to confirm DecoClad® maintains its performance under extreme fire conditions and complies with AS 1530.4 and BAL-FZ (Bushfire Attack Level – Flame Zone) requirements when installed according to the DecoClad FRL -/30/30 Installation Guide.
The FRL -/30/30 rating confirms that when installed according to the specified FRL installation methods, the DecoClad® system resists flame and heat penetration for up to 30 minutes, providing critical protection and compliance in bushfire-rated zones.
