Front Façade & Entry Door Inspiration
Timber-look battens and cladded garage doors have been a growing trend thanks to their contemporary, clean, linear aesthetics. Now, the vision of a seamless, continuous front façade extends this look across the entire home, including the entryway, creating an even more striking effect.
DecoBatten® and DecoClad® can turn a front entry door into a natural extension of the façade, creating a seamless, cohesive look rather than a separate element. Here are some of our favourite projects that show how our aluminium battens and cladding systems can unify the entire front of a home into a striking, contemporary statement.
Ena Street, NovaCoast Doors and Gates
DecoBatten® conceals the garage door and the front door to create a unified, sculptural frontage that appears to be one continuous surface. The second-story screening helps combine the curves and edges, while maintaining that same aesthetic.

Bayview Project, TradExperts
Although this front door is not joining the garage, the design continues the same DecoBatten® façade with the large window sitting in the centre.

‘The Madrid’ display home, King Homes
A DecoClad® application that demonstrates how the new Castelline® cladding profile can create a castellated effect for a striking façade. The cladding seamlessly wraps from the garage, to the wall and onto the front door.
The Madrid is on display at HomeWorld Oran Park. Read more about this project here.

Practical tips for achieving a seamless front façade
- Match profiles and finish: Use the same DecoWood® finish across garage and door to eliminate visual breaks
- Conceal hardware: Recessed or flush hardware preserves the continuous surface.
- Follow installation guides: Follow the DECO’s installation instructions to ensure performance and compliance.
