In the recent DNA of Design series by The Block favourites , Andy and Deb, viewers were treated to the ultimate transformation on House 2. Once a mismatched, outdated home in the picturesque Gold Coast Hinterland, it is now the epitome of coastal country living.

The renovation combined a dramatic alternation and extension throughout both the interior and exterior of the property. It even included a complete makeover of the outdoor living area, which Andy and Deb captured as part of their DNA of Design series – watch it here.

One of the most striking features of Andy and Deb’s makeover was the addition of the floating deck to extend the outdoor living space.
