Created as a dream home for relaxed beachside living, HAUSS 6 blends contemporary architecture with warmth and practicality, resulting in a residence that feels both striking and welcoming.
The design combines clean lines with gentle curves, creating a home that feels both striking and inviting. A mix of materials, including stone, crisp white cladding, and timber-look aluminium battens, adds depth and character, while the layered façade gives the home a calm, confident presence.
DECO Australia’s aluminium cladding and batten range played an important role in bringing the home’s facade design together.
On the upper level, crisp white DecoClad® Weatherboard cladding sits above a grounded base of stonework, creating a striking contrast between lightness and solidity. DecoBatten® one-piece 50 x 75mm timber-look battens form the second-storey screen, introducing warmth and rhythm to the exterior.
The modern designer garage door is clad in DecoBatten® QuickClick® battens, aligned with the screening above and wrapping around the home’s soft curves toward the elegant entry. The overall effect is a refined coastal modern aesthetic – serene, balanced, and beautifully detailed.
Located just metres from the ocean, durability was a key consideration when selecting finishes. Interior designers Rebeccah and Alleria choose low-maintenance materials that would perform in the harsh coastal environment. The DecoWood® Hampton Beech finish used across the timber-look aluminium battens on the screen and garage brings a warm timber expression while delivering the durability needed for an Australian beachside location.
The DecoClad® aluminium weatherboard cladding was finished in DecoCoat® White, providing a bright, refined backdrop that allows the surrounding textures and tones to shine.
The finished result is a contemporary coastal retreat that feels serene, stylish, and built for real family life. A home designed not just to impress, but to be lived in and enjoyed for years to come.
