DecoPost® Cover Recognised in the 2026 Australian Good Design Award

DECO is excited to announce that our innovative aluminum DecoPost® Cover System was awarded the esteemed 2026 Australian Good Design Award.

This year’s theme, “Design that Leads” highlighted the critical role of design in navigating complexity, driving innovation and creating positive change. In an era of rapid and unprecedented change, Design that Leads recognizes that good design is more than just the end result, it focuses on reimaging the possibilities of spaces and systems to achieve a sustainable future.

DecoPost® Cover is amongst the standout 2026 Australian Good Design Award Winners in the Product Design Hardware and Building category. The jury praised DecoPost® Cover stating that,

“The design presents a practical and well-executed approach for refreshing outdoor spaces, with extruded aluminium providing durability and low maintenance while the timber-look finish successfully delivers warmth and visual appeal without the upkeep of natural timber.”

“The Jury was impressed by the thoughtfully resolved clip fixing system, which contributes to a clean appearance and straightforward installation, offering building owners and trades a cost-effective way to upgrade existing structures and extend asset life.”

The Australian Good Design Awards recognize excellence from around the world across 13 overarching design principles and more than 30 categories.
