Unlike timber, DecoWood® does not require painting, staining, or sealing. However, like all powder-coated aluminium, regular cleaning is recommended to maintain appearance and performance. Cleaning frequency depends on your environment and should follow Australian Standard AS 3715 guidelines.

DecoBatten®, DecoClad®, DecoDeck® and DecoSlat®, and most of our other extruded aluminium profiles and accessories come in standard 6.5 metre lengths. After applying the DecoWood® (or other) finish, the final usable length is approximately 6.45 metres.
For shorter or longer lengths, ask our team about a dedicated mill run for your order.
Our aluminium sheet products including DecoPanel®, DecoSign®, and DecoSplash® are available in various sizes up to a maximum of 1500 x 3600 mm. For larger applications, sheets can be joined seamlessly to achieve greater height or length.
Yes. All DECO aluminium products can be easily cut using a drop saw with an aluminium blade. Products can be pre-cut or trimmed on-site for a precise fit.
Yes. DECO systems are designed for simple and efficient installation. Most qualified tradespeople and experienced DIYers can install our products like DecoBatten®, DecoClad®, and DecoDeck®.

Yes. Products including DecoClad®, DecoBatten®, and DecoDeck® are made from non-combustible aluminium and are tested to AS 1530.1 and AS 1530.3, making them suitable for use in bushfire-prone areas (subject to compliance requirements).

DecoWood® is a Super Durable™ powder coating finish designed for high resistance to scratching and wear.
If you do happen to scratch the DecoWood® finish, there are options available; light marks can be buffed out (like on a car) or colour matched touch-up paints are available and are designed to blend in with the woodgrain finish.

Yes. DECO is an approved applicator for leading powder brands including Dulux® and Interpon®, and offers a full range of architectural powder coating services.
DECO offers a 12-year warranty with conditions as set out in the Australian Standard (AS3715) for our DecoWood® and DecoVogue® finishes. The warranty covers peeling, flaking, chipping, change of colour (within the allowable limits) and gloss level. All standard powder coat warranties are provided by the powder supplier.
